Tutorial: Tues, 10:45 - 11:45, Lecture Hall 3.

Text book: "Topology: A first course" by James Munkres.

Grading: The grade for the class will be decided on the basis of a final exam, one midterm exam and regular assignments/quiz (about 40%,30% and 30% respectively).

Problems sets will be posted frequently (below) and are to be conscientiously solved. I will ask for a subset of the problems to be submitted to me from time to time. In addition, I will give weekly quizzes either in class or in the tutorial. There will be no make-ups for the in-class quizzes and late homework will not be accepted.
