Abstract

This talk focuses on the practical deployment of strategies for optimizing warehouse slotting and replenishment to minimize human labor. We will explore the NP-Hardness of these tasks and the real-world challenges in developing effective algorithms. Emphasis will be placed on how these strategies can be generalized and applied across various warehouse environments., geographies and picking policies, Restrictions.

Attendees will gain insights into the potential of automation and machine learning inspired iterative techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations. This session is geared towards practical, actionable solutions while acknowledging the theoretical limitations.
