The talk will cover what is new, what is proven, and what the future may bring. Both the speakers have extensive experience in solving these types of problems in industry. Short bio: Michael Watson co-founded Opex Analytics, a US-based company that grew to 140 employees (including 50 in India) and had customers like Nike, McDonald's, Nissan, Unilever, and Coca-Cola. The company applied Practical AI to solve supply chain and operational problems. The company was acquired by LLamasoft (the leader in supply chain design software) in 2019 and then by Coupa Software in 2020. Michael has also been an adjunct professor at Northwestern since 1999; has written two books (Supply Chain Network Design and Managerial Analytics); and blogs at MikeTalksAI.substack.com.
