Abstract

In this talk, we begin with recalling Bloch's formula for smooth schemes. After defining the necessary terminology, we explain the meaning of Bloch's formula with modulus. We then focus on the formula over a finite field and its relation to the ramified class field theory. In particular, we also discuss different notions of fundamental groups with modulus. The talk is based on joint works with Prof. Amalendu Krishna.
