Sorkin-Johnston formalism for QFT in curved spacetime (Lecture 2)

In these lectures, I will discuss the Sorkin-Johnston formalism for QFT in curved spacetime. It is an observer independent way of picking up a QFT vacuum uniquely in arbitrary bounded globally hyperbolic spacetime starting from the retarded Green's function.

I will start by discussing the formalism in the first lecture followed by our results of the Sorkin-Johnston vacuum in 2d causal diamond and cosmological spacetimes in the subsequent lectures. I will end the lectures with a discussion and our results on the spacetime formulation of entanglement entropy by Sorkin.
