Abstract

Let $X = \mathbb{P}(E_1) \times_C \mathbb{P}(E_2)$ where $C$ is a smooth complex projective curve and $E_1$, $E_2$ are vector bundles over $C$. We talk about the pseudo-effective cones of cycles on $X$. We start with the nef cones of divisors on $X$ and then move into the cones of effective cycles of higher co-dimension on $X$. we also discuss some results on the Seshadri constants of nef line bundles on $X$.
