Abstract

In this report we will introduce an important class of ring which is Gorenstein ring and It’s Ubiquity (characterize Gorenstein Ring, using homological tool).Also we deal with examples of Regular local ring, Complete intersection, Cohen-Macaulay ring and Gorenstein ring. Finally, we clarify the position of the Gorenstein rings in the hierarchy of Noetherian local rings.
