Abstract

The filling radius and the filling volume of a compact Riemannian manifold are new metric invariants discovered by M. Gromov. These are a rich source of open problems in Riemannian Geometry, which will be stated in the talk. We shall introduce these along with the Gromov-Hausdorff distance. After a brief summary of the known results, we shall discuss a possible approach to computing some of these using Convex Geometry.
