Abstract

There has been a lot of work related to Ward Identities of Asymptotic Symmetries in QED and Gravity on formal S-matrix which are IR divergent in general. Faddeev and Kulish have developed a formalism to construct IR finite S matrix by working with Asymptotic states (which are states dressed with a cloud of soft particles) instead of Fock states. Recently there has been a series of papers studying the Ward Identities on these asymptotic states. We discuss this in the context of Gravity as well as QCD.
