Abstract

One of the problems faced by big corporations is to figure out a model that will enable the HR department to create and track the efficacy of targeted strategies for retaining employees with varying reasons and risk of attrition. In this talk we will focus on US financial services as a case study. For example, a bank BPO hires ~ 30,000 Customer Service Reps (CSRs) for a year to work in their call centers. Approximately 33% made it through the 12 weeks of training, but failed the required Series 7 exam at the end of the training. So one needs to find the right variables that could uncover the “raw talent profile”, and apply Statistical analysis to correlate this with top/bottom CSR performance. We will explain how our risk analytics methods predicted 33% of attrition with 95% accuracy.
