Abstract

It is conjectured that Dirichlet L-function L(s, \chi) ,associated to a Dirichlet character \chi (mod q) does not vanish at the central critical point s = 1/2 .In this talk I plan to present a brief outline of the main result which explains why a positive proportion of these functions do not vanish at the central critical point.
