Abstract

We describe a new class of rings, more general than monogenic and binary rings, to give lower bounds on counting the number of number fields with bounded discriminant. This improves the earlier work of Bhargava-Shankar-Wang. We further extend this theory to m-fine rings and describe its various consequences.
