Stony Brook University. 11-01-24 Abstract The Calderbank-Shor-Steane (CSS) code is a class of quantum error correction codes that contains the toric code and fracton models. By using chain complex as an efficient tool to describe CSS codes, we develop a procedure to obtain dualities from them. We study the measurement-assisted gauging method with cluster-state entanglers for CSS/fracton models, extending results in the literature, and demonstrate non-invertible fusion of duality operators. This method allows us to generalize the notion of strange correlators to general CSS codes.
