Abstract

The SHGH conjecture is a well-known conjecture concerning linear systems of curves in the projective plane. In 2002, A. Laface extended this conjecture to the setting of Hirzebruch surfaces. In this talk, we will explore certain implications of these conjectures and exhibit irrational Seshadri constants assuming one of these conjectures. This is a joint work with Krishna Hanumanthu, Suhas B. N. and Amit Kumar Singh.
