Abstract

This talk will begin with a brief introduction to cryptography and its role in information security. This will be followed by a presentation of some popular techniques to find weaknesses in cryptographic algorithms or their implementations, taking the Russian cryptographic standards Magma (GOST R 34.12-2015) and Streebog (GOST R 34.11-2012) as examples.
