Physics Seminar Date: Wednesday, 7 May 2025 Time: 1:45 PM Venue: NKN Hall (Hybrid mode) The Stückelberg Path to Pure de Sitter Supergravity Sukruti Bansal Vienna University of Technology. 07-05-25 Abstract We advance the study of pure de Sitter supergravity by introducing the full expression of unimodular supergravity action via the super-Stückelberg mechanism. Building on previous works, we construct a complete four-dimensional action of spontaneously broken N=1 supergravity to all orders in the Stückelberg fields, which allows for de Sitter solutions. The introduction of the finite supergravity transformation of the Lagrange multiplier superfield extends the super-Stückelberg procedure beyond the second order of the Stückelberg fields, offering recursive expressions for the supergravity transformation of the fields. This work bridges the earlier perturbative approaches and the complete finite theory, opening new possibilities for de Sitter vacua in supergravity models and eventually string theory.
