Literary Seminar
The Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) has been accorded the
status of a "Deemed to be University" under Section 3 of the UGC
Act 1956. One of the goals of CMI is to set up a Humanities Depar
tment. In this context, a Literary Seminar will be held on
Saturday, October 13, 2007, at the campus of CMI from 10.00 a.m.
onwards. The seminar will discuss aspects of Literature and
Creative Writing in the context of a Humanities programme.
The Programme will be as follows:
