Abstract

Let V be a proper isometry on a Hilbert space H and C*(V) be the C*-algebra generated by V. Then there exist a unique *-isomorphism p of C*(T) onto C*(V) such that p(T)=V, where T is an isometry on a Hardy space over circle.
