Abstract

We'll give an elementary introduction to constant scalar curvature Kaehler metrics and more generally Calabi's extremal Kaehler metrics. We'll also introduce the corresponding evolution equation, the Calabi flow, and discuss some recent progress, done in a joint work with Prof. Ben Weinkove.
