The course will meet from 930 am to 11:15 am and from 2 pm to 3:45 pm
Topics: Newtonian and Lagrangian mechanics, Noether's theorem, Hamiltonian mechanics, Poisson brackets, Oscillations, Normal modes of a double pendulum, Vibrations of a stretched string, Canonical transformations, Rigid body motion.
