- Introduction to Mathematical Finance, CMI. An odd semester elective at the Chennai Mathematical Institute, 2025, 2026. Course details and materials.
I completed my PhD in theoretical physics at Chennai Mathematical Institute with Govind Krishnaswami, working on nonlinear dynamics and chaos. I then spent a few months as a postdoctoral researcher at IIT Madras with Vaibhav Madhok and Arul Lakshminarayan, and was briefly a visiting scientist at ISI Bengaluru. Here is a brief CV.
I later transitioned to the mathematical finance industry. I worked as a Core Quant Strat at Goldman Sachs (2021–2023) and am currently an Equity Derivative Quant at HSBC (since 2023).
Alongside my job, I run Logic Labs with Arjun, where we train PhDs and postdocs for industry roles. I also co-edit Leelavati with Soumyashant Nayak.
