I asked mom about some stories from her memories of Giftie
mama, and she was telling me times that he used to sit and teach her math
when she was little. She also told me about when she lived with you and
mama, and that you really made her feel loved. I still remember when I
came to visit when I was 7, and uncle sat in the front yard with me and taught
me about dinosaurs, then took me to a place to get some petrified wood. I
still have that piece of wood at home in Miami. I remember how you took care of
me when my leg became swollen from some allergic reaction I had, and how
everyone showed me so much love. Dad always used to tell me stories of how
you both took care of my mom, and how he respects and loves both of you
the most from mom's side of the family
