Abstract

Statistics evolved as a science in an era where the amount of data available was small and efforts were on to extract maximum actionable intelligence out of the available data.

Is it still relevant in the era of BigData,.....

We will illustrate via examples that while some techniques may no longer be relevant, the concepts are as relevant in this era as they were then.
