Abstract

The Foliated Topology is a new Grothendieck topology defined by Joseph Ayoub. On his webpage is a paper where this topology is employed in his proof of the `Conservativity Conjecture for Chow Motives'. The foliated topology and an over-simplified explanation of Ayoub's strategy will be given in the talk.
