Abstract

Based purely on symmetry considerations, we derive cubic interaction vertices describing fields of arbitrary spin in four dimensions. Perturbative ties, like the KLT relations, and vertex factorization properties are rendered manifest in this approach. We comment on extensions of this formalism to curved space-time backgrounds.
