Abstract

There are various compatible type mappings in metric fixed point theory. Two new concepts Cauchy compatible and Cauchy reciprocal continuous have been introduced. Cauchy compatible and Cauchy reciprocal continuous generalizes compatible and reciprocal continuous respectively in the setting of metric spaces. Using this, some common fixed theorems are obtained which generalize many theorems.
